Architectural Mall offers low-maintenance porch posts for front porches, covered entries, balconies, and similar residential applications. These narrow-profile posts are available in Colonial, square, and chamfered styles, with standard heights ranging from 8 to 10 feet depending on the model.

The porch posts are designed for projects that need a more economical and compact alternative to larger architectural columns. Outdoor Lamp Posts

Architectural Mall offers low-maintenance outdoor lamp posts for driveways, gardens, walkways, and other exterior areas. Each post has a center pipe that allows electrical wiring to be routed through the post, and the 2-7/8-inch pipe is compatible with many outdoor light fixtures.

The lamp posts are made from polyethylene, filled with polyurethane foam, and supplied with a prefinished white exterior that should not be painted. Available options include a 90.5-inch Colonial lamp post and a 96-inch Chamfered lamp post. The light fixture is not included and must be purchased separately.

Porch Posts vs. Porch Columns

Porch posts generally have narrower profiles and more standardized sizes than full architectural columns. They are a practical option for residential porches, covered entries, balconies, and projects where a compact, economical support is preferred.

Larger architectural porch columns are available in a broader range of materials, profiles, diameters, and design styles. These may be a better choice when the project requires a more substantial appearance, greater customization, or a specific architectural style.

When an existing structural post will remain in place and only needs a decorative exterior covering, a column wrap may be the more appropriate option.
